The following is a list of writing exercises that have been assigned to the students of this class.
Your final paper will be placed in your portfolio on your web page.

	Daily	Sight Phrases (Required)	Write sentences using the most common words. Phrases are then used for dictation.
	None	Autobiography (Required)	Tell me who you are. Interests? Family? Traveled? Occupation? Studied? Fun time? Sports? Leisure activities? Movies? Read? Music? E-Mail your finished paper to the teacher
	Weekly	Vocabulary Homework (Required)	Learn four new words each week and use the words in a short paragraph or short story. E-Mail your homework to the teacher
	2/11/04	Food Shopping	Students write a story about shopping for food using: going to, a/some, and the identifer. E-Mail your finished paper to the teacher
	2/23/04	Was/Were Grammar	Students write questions and answers using "was/were". E-Mail your finished paper to the teacher
	3/29/04	Interview 1 (Due April 7, 2004)	Interview another student and write a paper in the third person. E-Mail your finished paper to the teacher
