A: When we are almost sure
something is true, but we want to check and make sure.

Q: When I’m asking a tag
question, how do I know if the tag should be positive or negative?

A: If the sentence is
positive, the tag is negative. If the sentence is negative, the tag is
positive.

Q: What verb tense do I use
in the tag?

A: Use the same verb tense
in the tag that is used in the beginning of the statement.
