Using an E-Mail program with students in school is difficult at times beacuse ot the school district's policy. Finding and locating a program that would work within our school district's filters was a challenge. A few years ago when the district was just beginning to get into the technology, there were no programs available. E-Pals finally arose and provided a safe and secure environment for students to conduct E-Mail with their teacher. It was also approved by the district! We have been using E-Pals ever since and it works great with students. As more of our students purchase personal home computers and laptops, their access has changed and now we can communicate without worries of filters.
