4. Class Materials:
Flash/Thumb Drive to save your work on the computer, pen/pencil, class notebook (if not using flashdrive).

5. Computers:
You will be using the computer to complete and submit all of your work. It is not necessary to own or have your own computer. If you have a lap top computer, you are welcome to bring it to school and use it, but there is no Internet connection with the school. You will have to provide your own connection. If you have a computer at home, you can use it to help you complete your assignments and submit your work. We use Microsoft Office for all of our work. If you don't have Microsoft Office on your personal computer, please see the teacher for more information on how you can get it or you can download a free office type program from OpenOffice.org. All of your work should be saved with the extension .doc or with an Open Office format. Students are expected to improve their keyboarding skills (20 wpm) through a keyboarding program that is on the school computer.

1. Attendance:
All students are expected to attend and be prepared for each class at 12:00 noon. Please notify teacher of absence. After five +1 absences, your name will be removed from the class list. Complete Attendance Policy.

2. Assignments:
Students will complete all assigned assignments and submit/e-mail to the teacher by Thursday.
A) Grammar activity sheets (do not submit)
B) Write one sentence each day with new grammar and on Thursday with a new word. (do not submit)
C) Write one good paragraph using the grammar we learned for that week, a new word, and the writing topic. (Submit on Tuesday/Thursday)

3. Homework: It is expected that students will spend some time at home practicing the grammar and writing their paragraph.

4. Weekly Quiz: There will be a short grammar quiz every Thursday.

5. Participation: Students will participate in all class activities and be a helpful team member. Sensei will assign you to a team.

6. Maintenance: Students will maintain a clean & neat work area (computer screen, keyboard, trash, eraser remains) and class environment. Students will clean their work area before leaving the class. Students will also shut down their computer before leaving the classroom.
