Goal #2: I want to be able to improve my pronunciation.
Autobiography
To all who read my life of history, my name is Lucila Segundo. I come from Mexico. I have lived here in California since 1993. During the first years I used to work but after that I got married and I decided to stay home caring for my children. Now they attend school and I have the opportunity to attend ESL classes.
Since I take ESL classes I feel more comfortable speaking with my children, doctor and teachers. I have better communication with my older son and I do my best each semester doing my work to improve and learn new words and grammar, but it is not enough. I can always do more. On the weekends I enjoy playing basketball with my children and taking them to the park. My goal in this semester is doing everything to improve my vocabulary.
I’m still here working on my goals. For this semester I have a big challenge with my task. I have a lot to do, and learn more. I have been learning how to make a project. Now I can help my children with their projects. I had some obstacles to reach my goal, but I’m doing all the possible work to continue with the class. This is the best class I have been attending. In the future I want to get a short training career and earn a lot of money to support my children. Now my favorite time is reading books, and studying with my children. Thanks teacher to impel us to complete our goals.
