My name is Laila Treadway (born – Kalnina). I was born in Latvia, on June 27, 1965. Latvia was one of the Soviet Union’s republics until 1991. My father’s name was Arnolds Kalnins and my mother’s name is Ilga Kalnina. I am the youngest child of three children. I had lived in Latvia all my life before I moved to the United States in December 2010. I graduated from Jelgava Musical College in 1984 and Daugavpils Pedagogical University in 1991. By profession I am a music and piano teacher. I taught piano and music history in Jelgava Musical College for more than 12 years. I’ve been married twice. From the first marriage I have a son Eduard. He is 11 years old. Two years ago, I met my present husband Randy Treadway. We got married in February 2011. I like traveling and sport activities like bicycle riding and swimming.
